I headed to London and Geneva in the summer - London to meet up with Gen and family for a few days, then on to Geneva to find my old house, and see how the neighborhood had changed.

Jonathan Kelly > Trafalgar Square, on a sunny June afternoon. The Square commemorates the Battle of Trafalgar (1805), a British naval victory of the Napoleonic Wars. The original name was to have been "King William the Fourth's Square", but George Ledwell Taylor suggested the name "Trafalgar Square" (source: Wikipedia).

Jonathan Kelly > The Victoria Memorial, in front of Buckingham Palace. It was built by the sculptor Sir Thomas Brock, in 1911. The surround was constructed by the architect Sir Aston Webb, from 2,300 tons of white marble (source: Wikipedia).
